TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has confiscated several items from the PT Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GoTo) office on Iskandarsyah Street, Melawai, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on July 8, 2025.
"A series of seizures of various pieces of evidence were carried out there," said Head of the Legal Information Center of the AGO, Harli Siregar, on Friday, July 11, 2025.
Among the seized pieces of evidence are documents or letters and electronic evidence in the form of flash disks. Harli stated that the raid is related to the investigation of alleged corruption in the procurement of Chromebooks at the Ministry of Education and Culture during the 2019-2022 period, which is currently under AGO investigation.
"Both the documents and electronic evidence, we hope to find various information that can strengthen the evidence-gathering process in the investigation," he said.
Prior to this, the AGO also raided several locations, including the former Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology's former staff member Nadiem Makarim's apartment, Jurist Tan, and Fiona Handayani, as well as the home of former consultant to the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Research and Technology, Ibrahim Arief.
From Fiona's apartment at Kuningan Place, South Jakarta, investigators confiscated one laptop and three mobile phones. Then, from Jurist Tan's apartment at Ciputra World 2, South Jakarta, two external hard drives, one flash disk, and one laptop were confiscated. The raid was conducted on May 21, 2025. Two days later, investigators raided Jurist Tan's house in Cilandak, South Jakarta, and confiscated several pieces of electronic evidence.
In this case, investigators suspect that there has been a manipulation of studies that led to the selection of Chromebooks. Prosecutors are also delving into the issue of offers from Google to the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Research and Technology. Google's marketing representative, Ganis Samoedra Murhayono, has also been questioned. In this case, investigators have not yet named any suspects, including those concerning the calculation of state losses.
