TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Metro Police have deployed 1,500 joint personnel to guard the concert of the South Korean girl group, BLACKPINK, at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium today, on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

"The Jakarta Metro Police are deploying 1,500 personnel to provide services, ensure security, and maintain order during the Blackpink concert at GBK," said the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Grand Commissioner Budi Hermanto, in a statement on Saturday.

Budi detailed that the joined personnel comprises 1,243 personnel from the Jakarta Metro Police, 132 personnel from the Central Jakarta Metro Police, and 35 additional personnel from the Indonesian National Army (TNI). The officers come from various divisions, including Mobile Brigade (Brimob), traffic police, healthcare division, and public relations.

Additionally, the concert security is backed by 90 personnel from various regional offices, including the Regional Police, the Transportation Office, the Health Office, and the Jakarta Fire Department.

Budi explained that they have divided the security coverage area into eight entrance gate zones. Security measures are also taken in the area surrounding the GBK, including the artists' hotel. "Personnel are on standby at the audience entrances, artist arrival routes, parking areas, and traffic routes around GBK," he said.

During the BLACKPINK concert today, the Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Directorate is also collaborating with the Jakarta Transportation Office to divert traffic around the GBK area. Traffic diversion is carried out in the FX Sudirman area, Plaza Barat GBK, TVRI, Ladokgi, and Semanggi areas.

Budi also urged the public to use public transportation during the concert. "The public is encouraged to use public transportation to reduce traffic congestion," said Budi.

For BLACKPINK fans intending to bring private vehicles to the concert, parking areas are provided at the Indonesia Arena and Hall A Basket. Budi prohibits drivers from parking their vehicles in the GBK Ring Road area. The area is used for vehicle evacuation and operations control.

The BLACKPINK concert in Jakarta, titled "Deadline," is held for two days from November 1 to 2, 2025. The concert starts at 06:30 p.m.
