TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Wuling Motors has been confirmed to participate in the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS 2025), which will take place at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, on April 19-May 4, 2025.
Not only that, Wuling will also take advantage of the moment by introducing their new electric car model. Wuling Motors Brand Communication Senior Manager, Brian Gomgom said that Wuling will present a total of seven car units.
Gomgom also explained that his party will provide six car units that are used specifically for test drives, so that visitors can directly try and assess their superior products.
"And there is indeed one surprise, which (the dividing rope) is black. This is what we will display or send for the first time at the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show 2025," he said during the PEVS 2025 Press Conference.
Meanwhile, the Wuling Indonesia Instagram account has also uploaded several image clips such as the headlamp of the car that will be launched. Wuling is predicted to present an electric van called the Yangguang EV, which has already been launched in its home country.
With dimensions of around 4980 mm x 1800 mm x 1970 mm, the Wuling Yangguang EV offers a two-passenger cabin and cargo space.
This car, which emphasizes functional aspects, comes with a simple design, plus a logo decoration and horizontally elongated headlights, and has a complete front body that is claimed to be safer than the flat-faced body model of its predecessor, the Wuling Rongguang.
The Yangguang EV is equipped with a new lithium iron phosphate battery pack called the Wuling Red No. 1. Available in two variant options, the battery is capable of traveling 230 km and 300 km on a single charge.
The battery will supply energy to the rear electric motor, up to 80 hp or 60 kW of power.
For your information, this battery has a smart cooling system, which is driven using technology with an ultra-thin structure with a total thickness of 148 mm.
