TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) recorded the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) strengthening by 0.72 percent this week. JCI closed at 8,271.76 on Friday, February 20, 2026. Meanwhile, the previous week, JCI closed at 8,212.27.
"Stock trading data on the IDX during the period of February 16-20, 2026, closed in the positive zone," said the Corporate Secretary of IDX, Kautsar Primadi Nurahmad in an official statement on Friday, February 20, 2026. He stated that the market capitalization increased by 0.35 percent to Rp14.941 trillion from Rp14.889 trillion the previous week.
Meanwhile, foreign investors recorded a net buy value of Rp240.57 billion on Friday, February 20, 2026. Meanwhile, throughout this year, foreign investors recorded a net sell value of Rp14.42 trillion.
The average daily trade frequency increased by 11.99 percent, rising from 2.73 million transactions last week to 3.06 million this week. The average daily trade volume of the IDX also increased this week, by 3.87 percent to 47 billion shares from 45.24 billion shares the previous week.
In addition, the average daily trade value also increased, by 3.02 percent to Rp23.89 trillion. Meanwhile, the daily transaction value in the previous week was recorded at Rp23.19 trillion.
