2. 5 Destinations to Celebrate Indonesia's National Flora and Fauna Day 2025

Every year, the National Flora and Fauna Day (HCPSN) is commemorated on November 5th in Indonesia as a national momentum to increase public awareness of the conservation of Indonesian flora (puspa) and fauna (satwa).

This observance was first initiated in 1993 through Presidential Decree Number 4 of 1993 regarding National Animals and Flowers. Its main objective is to build concern, love, and pride for the country's biodiversity, while also encouraging efforts to protect against threats such as deforestation, illegal hunting, and climate change.

Google Doodle also celebrated National Flora and Fauna Day on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, with a creation that unites species from land, sea, and air, representing the biodiversity of Indonesia. This serves as an invitation to protect and appreciate all the unique plants (puspa) and animals (satwa) in Indonesia.
