The Jakarta Metropolitan Police, together with the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), conducted the Berantas Jaya 2025 Operation on Tuesday night, May 13, 2025. The Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Grand Commissioner Ade Ary Syam Indradi, stated that a total of 734 personnel were deployed in this operation.
"534 personnel are in open deployment, while 200 are undercover, targeting thuggery that has been disturbing the public," he said when encountered at the Kembangan Police Sector, West Jakarta, on Tuesday night, May 13, 2025.

Commander of the Military Region Command (Pangdam) III Siliwangi Major General TNI (Indonesian Army) Dadang Arif Abdurahman stated that the investigation of the ammunition explosion that killed 13 people in Sagara Village, Cibalong, Garut Regency, West Java is still ongoing.
"The investigation is still ongoing, not yet finished," said Dadang when meeting the families of the ammunition explosion victims at Pameungpeuk Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Garut, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 as quoted from Antara.
