The Investment Management Agency (BPI) Danantara will pour investment into the housing sector. CEO Danantara Rosan Roeslani said this support is given because the housing program is a priority for Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
He has also discussed the housing financing support with the National Banks Association or Himbara.
"By the end of this year, we estimate it could reach around Rp 130 trillion," said Rosan to the Minister of Public Housing and Settlements (PKP) Maruarar Sirait during a working visit in Singapore on Monday, June 16, 2025, as quoted from the official Instagram account @maruararsirait.
Rosan stated that Danantara has prepared an investment scheme that will be channeled to the PKP Ministry. According to him, the banking sector has responded positively to this investment plan because it will have guarantees from the houses that receive financing.
2. Israel Strikes Iran's State TV Headquarters, Interrupts Live Broadcast in Tehran
The government-owned television building of Iran, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), was struck by Israel on Monday night, June 16, 2025, immediately disrupting the live broadcast.
An explosion occurred during a live program, just as the presenter was condemning Israel. He was seen leaving the broadcast shortly afterward, according to Iranian media outlets that circulated footage of the incident, including Barron's.
Earlier, NBC News reported that the Israeli military (IDF) had issued an evacuation order for residents of Block 3 in northern Tehran, the capital of Iran.
"In the coming hours, the IDF will operate in the area, in line with its actions in recent days across Tehran, to attack military facilities belonging to the Iranian regime," said IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraee on X.

The UAE also urged all parties to resume peaceful dialogue in line with international law and called on the UN Security Council to take decisive steps toward achieving a ceasefire and preserving regional stability.
