TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian president Prabowo Subianto convened a limited meeting with several members of his Red and White Cabinet at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday afternoon, February 11, 2026.
Among those in attendance were Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Body Dony Oskaria, Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman, and Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia.
The meeting with key economic ministers took place after President Prabowo held a series of discussions in recent days with prominent business leaders and conglomerates.
Airlangga arrived at the palace at around 01:07 PM local time (WIB) but declined to elaborate on the agenda of the closed-door meeting.
When asked about the President’s recent talks with business figures, Airlangga said the discussions focused on the current economic situation.
“Certainly, we discussed the economy. As for the specific matters to be addressed today, we will hear directly from the President,” Airlangga told reporters at the palace in Central Jakarta.
Less than five minutes later, Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman also arrived. He likewise declined to disclose details of the meeting, saying only that he would report on developments in the food sector.
“Especially rice and corn, as well as downstream processing, prices, and food stocks,” Amran said.
Meanwhile, Dony Oskaria, head of BP BUMN and Chief Operating Officer of the state investment agency Danantara, described the gathering as a routine coordination meeting.
“We do not yet know what the specific agenda will be,” Dony said.
