TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The tech giant OpenAI is introducing a new business model by starting to test ads placement within the ChatGPT platform. This limited test, targeting U.S. users of the free version of ChatGPT, aims to support the increasing operational costs as their user base grows.

Meanwhile, paid service users such as ChatGPT Plus and Team are assured not to be affected by this test. They will continue to enjoy an ad-free experience as part of their premium subscription value. This clearly differentiates the ad-supported free service from the paid service offering a pure experience.
