Lippo Cikarang Boss Marlo Budiman Resigns Amid Meikarta Apartment Project

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Real estate giant PT Lippo Cikarang (LPCK) announced the resignation of its President Director, Marlo Budiman. Marlo's resignation comes as the company is planning to develop subsidized apartment projects in the Meikarta area.

"The company has received the resignation letter from Bapak Marlo Budiman from his position as President Director on January 30, 2026," said LPCK Corporate Secretary Peter Adrian in a disclosure of information on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Management has yet to disclose the reasons behind Marlo Budiman's decision to end his term earlier, but LPCK emphasizes that the resignation will not affect the company's operations or business strategy.

According to Peter, the company will follow up on the resignation in accordance with applicable provisions through the General Meeting of Shareholders mechanism. "The General Meeting of Shareholders related to the resignation will be held in accordance with applicable regulations," he said.

Marlo Budiman has only served as Lippo Cikarang's President Director since May 21, 2025, after being appointed through the annual GMS. Based on this decision, his term was supposed to run until the closing of the 2026 Annual GMS.

Outside of LPCK, Marlo remains holding several strategic positions within the Lippo Group. Marlo serves as the President Director of PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. (LPKR) and the President Commissioner of PT Multipolar Technology Tbk. (MLPT).

Prior to joining LPCK, Marlo had a long track record in the telecommunications and property sectors. He previously served as president director and CEO of PT Link Net Tbk., Deputy CEO of the Lippo Karawaci Group, as well as various managerial positions in Asia Pulp Paper (Sinarmas Group) and PT Sampoerna Telekomunikasi Indonesia.
