TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named six suspects in the alleged bribery of imported goods within the Directorate General of Customs and Excise at the Ministry of Finance. One of the suspects named is the former Director of Enforcement and Investigation at the Customs and Excise DG, Rizal (RZL).

The Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK, Asep Guntur Rahayu, said one of the suspects fled during the sting operation in Jakarta and Lampung. As a result, five suspects linked to this case are currently detained.

"The five suspects were detained for the first 20 days, from February 5 to 24, 2026. They are held at the KPK's Red and White Building detention site," Asep said during a press conference at the KPK office in South Jakarta on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

The suspects in this case are Rizal (RZL); the Head of the Subdirectorate of Intelligence in Enforcement and Investigation of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Sisprian Subiaksono (SIS); the Head of the Intelligence of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Orlando Hamonangan (ORL); the owner of PT Blueray (PT BR), Jhon Field (JF); the Chair of PT Blueray's Import Document Team, Andri (AND); as well as the Operational Manager of PT Blueray, Dedy Kurniawan (DK).

The case began when Orlando, Sisprian, and others colluded with PT Blueray, including Jhon Field, Andri, and Dedy Kurniawan, to plan the route for importing goods into Indonesia in October 2025.

According to Asep, there are two categories for the service and surveillance of imported goods entering Indonesia based on Minister of Finance Regulation Number 190/PMK.04/2022. These two categories determine the level of inspection before the goods are released from the customs area: green lane and red lane.

The green lane is intended for the release of imported goods without a physical inspection. Meanwhile, the red lane involves a physical inspection of the goods entering Indonesia.

In their arrangement, Customs officials were instructed by Orlando to adjust the parameters of the red lane by setting the rule at 70 percent. The data was then sent from the Directorate of Enforcement and Investigation to the Directorate of Customs and Excise Information.

"To input the parameters into the scanning tool for inspecting the goods," Asep explained.

As a result of this arrangement, a number of goods brought in by PT Blueray allegedly bypassed physical inspection. As a result, the suspected counterfeit and illegally imported goods could enter Indonesia freely.

Asep spoke of suspected meetings between PT Blueray and individuals at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise to hand over money from December 2025 to February 2026 at several locations. The cash was received regularly each month for several individuals within the Customs and Excise DG.

The suspects, namely Rizal, Sisprian, and Orlando are charged for receiving the bribes while Jhon Field, Andri, and Dedy Kurniawan, are charged with bribery.
