TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The gold price from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) plummeted significantly in today's trading, Tuesday, February 17, 2026. The Antam gold price dropped by Rp22,000 per gram today, continuing the price decline from the previous day.
Quoting the Logam Mulia website, today's gold price is recorded at Rp2,918,000 per gram, down from Monday's Rp2,940,000 per gram. Last weekend, Saturday, February 14, the price surged by Rp50,000 to Rp2,954,000.
At the beginning of 2026, gold prices continued to rise, reaching an all-time high of Rp3.16 million per gram on January 29, 2025. On January 31, 2026, the price of precious metal plummeted by Rp260,000 per gram, then strengthened by Rp167,000 per gram on February 2, 2026, and dropped again by Rp183,000 per gram on February 3, 2026.
Meanwhile, the buyback price of Antam gold today decreased by Rp22,000 to Rp2,706,000 per gram. Buyback transactions valued above Rp10,000,000 are subject to a 1.5 percent income tax (PPh 22).
This regulation is in accordance with the Amendment of the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 112/PMK.03/2022 concerning the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) for individuals, business entities, and government institutions, which also includes the use of the Population Identification Number (NIK) as the NPWP. PPh 22 will be automatically deducted from the total transaction value of sales or buyback.
