Putin made the statement following a bilateral meeting with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Russia on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, local time.

"There are many prospects in the energy sector, including nuclear energy. I know that Indonesia does have plans related to this, and if Indonesia decides to involve Russia, we are always ready to help," Putin was quoted as saying in an official statement from the Presidential Secretariat on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
