TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Gold prices from PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk. or Antam plummeted today, Thursday, May 8, 2025. Today's Antam gold prices dropped by Rp3,000 compared to the previous day.
Citing Logam Mulia's website, today's gold price is Rp1,953,000 per gram. Meanwhile, yesterday's gold price was Rp1,956,000 per gram. Gold briefly reached its highest level in the trading session on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, reaching Rp2,039,000 per gram.
Meanwhile, the buyback price of Antam gold bars today also dropped by Rp3,000 to Rp1,802,000 per gram. Buyback transactions above Rp10,000,000 will be subject to a 1.5 percent income tax (PPh 22).
This regulation follows the Amendment to the Minister of Finance Regulation Number 112/PMK.03/2022 concerning the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) for individuals, business entities, and government agencies. This amendment also includes using the Population Identification Number (NIK) as NPWP. PPh 22 will be automatically deducted from the total value of sales or buyback transactions.
