TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A Facebook account named "Bansos Kemensos" [archive] spread the claim that KTPs (ID cards) contain Rp2.5 million in aid for February and March 2026.

The content, uploaded on February 4, 2026, shared a link to check the KTP at https://pendaftaran19.online-ri.com. The link prompted residents to fill out a registration form with various personal details.

So, is it true that KTPs contain Rp2.5 million in aid for February or March 2026?

FACT CHECK

Tempo verified the link and compared it with the official website of the social assistance management authority. Results show that the Ministry of Social Affairs never shared information regarding Rp2.5 million in assistance for February and March 2026.

The "Bansos Kemensos" Facebook account sharing the link is not the official Ministry of Social Affairs account. The account was created only on February 4, 2026.

The Ministry of Social Affairs operates its official Facebook account at https://www.facebook.com/kemsosri. This account holds a blue verified badge and 320,000 followers.

Check out the differences between the official and fake Ministry of Social Affairs homepages below:

In addition to the fraudulent Facebook account, the link, https://pendaftaran19.online-ri.com, is not an official site for checking or registering for social assistance programs.

Official social assistance information is published exclusively through the Ministry's official channel at https://cekbansos.kemensos.go.id and the "Cek Bansos" app on the Play Store or App Store.

As reported on Kemensos.go.id, the Ministry of Social Affairs emphasized that it has never created a website or link for social assistance registration or disbursement. The public is urged to be careful and wary of any hoaxes claiming to be related to social aid.

Recipients of the Staple Food Card Program, Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT), and the Family Hope Program (PKH) are individuals already registered in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS).

Eligible individuals who are not yet registered in the DTKS can be nominated by the local government or through the "Usul-Sanggah" menu in the "Cek Bansos" application.

2026 Social Assistance Disbursement

Tempo reports that the government allocated more than Rp17 trillion for social assistance, which will be distributed ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2026. There are two types of social assistance being distributed: regular and adaptive.

Regular social assistance includes basic food aid and the Family Hope Program (PKH), which targets 18 million beneficiary families with a budget of Rp17.5 trillion.

"Adaptive social assistance for disaster relief, including for Sumatra and several other disasters, is valued at more than Rp2.3 trillion," said Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

In addition, the Ministry of Social Affairs has allocated a budget for social rehabilitation and attention. The total funding for this category is Rp20 trillion, with over Rp17 trillion already disbursed. The remainder will follow.

The value of Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) in 2026 is Rp200,000 per month, distributed quarterly. Recipients receive Rp600,000 per disbursement covering January, February, and March.

Meanwhile, the amount of PKH assistance varies from Rp225,000 to Rp750,000 depending on categories such as students, seniors, people with disabilities, pregnant women, and young children.

Social assistance is disbursed via two channels: direct transfer through state-owned banks (Himbara) and cash via the post office.

CONCLUSION

Tempo's verification concluded that the claim regarding the ID card containing Rp2.5 million in social assistance for February or March 2026 is false.
