Indonesian National Police Chief General Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo considers the 32 percent reciprocal tariff policy imposed by the United States on imports from Indonesia a common challenge. He hopes that the Trump tariff policy can be faced with close cooperation between the central and regional governments.

Sigit conveyed this after inaugurating the Gold Coast Bengkong International Ferry Port in Batam City on Monday, April 14, 2025. ''Batam City remains optimistic amidst the dynamic situation where Trump issues policies that impact Indonesian imports with a 32 percent tariff increase,'' said the Police Chief to the media after reviewing the private port owned by entrepreneur Tek Po, also known as Abi.

Several airlines provide meals for their passengers, offering a wide variety of options, including those tailored for special diets. To determine which airline delivers the best in-flight meals, YouGov Surveys: Self-serve recently conducted a survey.

According to the survey, Emirates topped the list as the airline with the best snacks and beverages.

A strong 84 percent of respondents gave favorable reviews for the airline’s snacks and drinks, while 85 percent were satisfied with the overall food quality. Notably, nearly half of the respondents, or 43 percent, rated the airline's snacks as excellent.

The Indonesian U-17 national team failed to advance to the semifinals of the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup after a resounding defeat against North Korea in the quarterfinals on Monday, April 14, 2025. Playing at the King Abdullah Sports City Hall Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the Young Garuda squad conceded six goals.

North Korea led the first half of the game with 2-0, followed by four more goals in the second half.
