TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to chair a plenary cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday afternoon, December 15, 2025.
Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana said the president would deliver directives to ministers and heads of institutions within the Red and White Cabinet.
“The president will issue guidance today,” Dadan said at the Presidential Palace complex in Central Jakarta on Monday.
Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono said the cabinet would receive instructions on a range of issues, including the government’s response to the disaster in Sumatra.
“There will also be discussions on other important matters ahead of the year-end holiday period,” he said.
Tempo observed that several ministers began arriving at the palace shortly after 03:00 PM local time. Among them were Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf, Human Rights Minister Natalius Pigai, Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, and Coordinating Minister for Political Affairs Djamari Chaniago.
Prabowo has visited several disaster-affected areas in Sumatra on three occasions. During those visits, he pledged to accelerate the repair of damaged transportation routes, facilitate relief for small business loan debts under the People’s Business Credit (KUR) scheme, and expedite the construction of temporary shelters for displaced residents.
