TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta remains unaffected by the two tropical cyclones, Senyar and Koto. As reported by the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) on Wednesday night, both cyclones are currently positioned in the eastern part of Aceh and the South China Sea.
As has been known for the past few days, heavy rainfall has covered several areas around both cyclones since their formation as tropical cyclone seeds.
Meanwhile, in Jakarta, BMKG forecasts relatively unchanged weather, with cloudy conditions throughout the day on Thursday, November 27, 2025. There is no potential for rain.
The maximum air temperature today is estimated to reach 33 degrees Celsius in South Jakarta and East Jakarta. Both areas are also predicted to have the highest maximum air humidity, at 89 percent.
Cloudy weather is also expected throughout the day in Jakarta and Depok City. Light rain is possible today in other areas, including Bekasi Regency and City, Tangerang Regency and City, and South Tangerang City.
A different forecast applies to the Bogor Regency and City. According to the BMKG, there is a possibility of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms today.
