TEMPO.CO, Jakarta -  The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) destroyed evidence of narcotics, psychotropic drugs, and other addictive substances or drugs in the BNN parking lot on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. The evidence destroyed included 100,000 grams of crystal meth, 889 grams of marijuana, 990 milliliters of liquid Methyl Dimethyl Butanoate or MDMB-4en-PINACA, and 953 grams of solid MDMB-4en-PINACA.

In total, approximately 102 kilograms of narcotics were destroyed.

"This was the result of 5 drug-related cases in 2026," said Acting Deputy for Eradication at BNN, Brigadier General Roy Hardi Siahaan, on Wednesday.

The confiscated drugs were incinerated after BNN took samples to test the validity of the evidence. All of them tested positive for narcotics, evident from the color-changing crystal used to test the chemical substance.

Roy Hardi said the drugs were confiscated from drug cases in Jakarta, Aceh, and Banten. Destroying the seized evidence is in line with the mandate of Narcotics Law Number 35 of 2009.

As a result of the destruction of the evidence, BNN claimed to have saved 401,460 people from drug trafficking.

"This destruction is a serious measure taken by BNN to save the nation's future generation. Drug crime is moral and humanitarian threat," said Roy Hardi.

Roy Hardi also called on all walks of society to actively participate in the fight against drugs, including by preventing one's own family from slipping into drug consumption. He also urged the public to report any suspicions of drug abuse or trafficking, through call center 184.
