TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Central Finansial X (CFX) is the first digital financial asset exchange in Indonesia to include crypto assets. Throughout the first semester of 2025, it recorded a total value of national crypto derivative transactions amounting to Rp33.54 trillion.
Through crypto derivative products, CFX is committed to fulfilling customer needs for innovative investment products.
CFX President Director Subani stated that the achievement in the first semester of this year is a positive note, considering that CFX only launched crypto derivative products in September 2024.
According to Subani, crypto derivative products are useful because they provide customers with opportunities to hedge. Customers can trade these products regardless of whether the market is rising or falling.
"The achievements throughout the first semester of this year indicate that interest in crypto derivative products continues to grow and is increasingly accepted by the public as one of the investment instrument options," Subani said in a statement in Jakarta on Monday, July 28, 2025.
In addition, the growth of crypto derivative transactions also occurred in the second quarter of 2025, which grew significantly by 158 percent compared to the first quarter of 2025.
Subani explained that, as of July 26, 2025, CFX has had 135 active crypto derivative contracts that can be traded in Indonesia, where the three most traded contracts are BTCUSDT-PERP, ETHUSDT-PERP, and PEPEUSDT-PERP.
"Seeing the continuously positive growth trend throughout the first semester of 2025, it is expected to continue to grow positively for the remainder of this year. We also expect that over time, crypto derivative products will become more recognized by the wider community and grow public interest in this product," he added.
Therefore, in the future, CFX will continue to increase the number of crypto derivative contracts that can be traded. Subani said this was done to provide customers with more contract options.
"In presenting new crypto derivative contracts, CFX will always carry out strict selection and assessment. So the contracts presented are not only to meet customer needs but also to comply with applicable regulations," said Subani.
