Elon Musk - US$508 Billion 

After a significant turbulence of net worth, Elon Musk is officially the richest person in the world, as of December 2025. This year alone, the CEO of SpaceX experienced multiple minor declines in his company’s share prices.

2. SEA Games 2025: Indonesia Finishes Runner-Up With 91 Gold

The Southeast Asian Games, SEA Games 2025, has come to a close. Indonesia finished in second place in the standings and successfully exceeded the set target of medals.

The SEA Games in Thailand concluded on Saturday, December 20, 2025. In total, the Indonesian contingent collected 91 gold medals, 111 silver medals, and 131 bronze medals.

Thailand emerged as the champion with nearly three times the number of gold medals compared to Indonesia. They secured 233 gold medals, 154 silver, and 108 bronze. Vietnam took the third position with 87 gold, 81 silver, and 110 bronze medals.

Indonesia exceeded the set targets, surpassing the initial burden of 80 gold medals by 11 gold medals.

3. SEA Games 2025 Closes in Bangkok, Malaysia Next Host

The Southeast Asian Games or SEA Games 2025 in Thailand officially concluded after the closing ceremony was held at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok on Saturday night, December 20, 2025.

The biennial multi-event's conclusion marked the end of the competition among athletes from 11 Southeast Asian countries and signaled the countdown to the next SEA Games in Malaysia in 2027.

The closing ceremony was lively with the theme 'The Sound of Whistle,' symbolizing the whistle as not just the end of the competition, but also the beginning of a new journey for the athletes.

Thousands of athletes, officials, volunteers, and spectators immersed themselves in the camaraderie as the athletes from 54 sporting events paraded around the main stadium field.

Thailand's Minister of Tourism and Sports, Artthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, expressed appreciation to all athletes, officials, and participating countries who made the 33rd SEA Games a success.
