TEMPO.COJakarta - Apple is reported to be launching the iPhone 17e, expected to be introduced next spring. The latest rumor from China suggests that the phone will have a 6.1-inch screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and will feature Dynamic Island.

The introduction of Dynamic Island indicates a design change for the iPhone 17e. Apple is said to replace the notch used on the iPhone 16e with a hole-punch screen.

Additionally, reports from GSM Arena suggest that the phone is rumored to use a downgraded version of the Apple A19 chip, unlike the iPhone 17 basic, which uses the same chip version with maximum performance.

According to Phone Arena, this 'e' variant is likely to have a lower clock speed or fewer GPU cores to reduce production costs.

Furthermore, the iPhone 17e is predicted to be the most affordable model in the iPhone 17 family. These specifications have appeared in previous rumors. Despite no official information from Apple, the consistency of reports from various sources makes this rumor increasingly likely to be accurate.

However, some old rumors mentioned that the iPhone 17e will use the same screen as its predecessor, including retaining the notch, with the only change being a thinner bezel.

In addition to the screen and chip specifications, the iPhone 17e is also expected to support MagSafe accessories, unlike the iPhone 16e, which does not have this feature. Mass production of the iPhone 17e is said to begin in the coming weeks.
