TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Metropolitan Police have received a report regarding the construction of a padel court in Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta. The reporter stated that the construction project is disturbing the tranquility of the surrounding environment.
"The Jakarta Metropolitan Police have referred the handling of the case to the South Jakarta Police for further processing," said Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Commissioner Budi Hermanto when confirmed on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
The report is numbered LP/B/863/I/2026/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA and has been submitted to the police since February 2, 2026.
The reporter in this case is AU, a lawyer representing the alleged victim AAB. The alleged parties are A, the project manager at PT PK, and S, the representative of PT PPS.
According to the report, the victim's residence is across from the ongoing padel project. According to the reporter, project work was carried out until late at night on December 25, 2025.
The reporter stated that the victim had already sent a letter to the local village chief and undergone a mediation process with the construction party. "However, the construction project continued at night, even until dawn, thus disrupting the tranquility of the environment," as stated in the report.
The victim felt aggrieved as a result of this incident. Subsequently, the reporter went to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police's Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) to file a report so that the police could conduct an investigation.
