The Puerto Rican superstar has been officially selected as the lead actor for the film Porto Rico, a historical drama directed by his fellow countryman, rapper, and activist, Residente. The film presents Puerto Rico's history in a way that has never been done before, featuring a cast of major Hollywood actors.

This project will mark Bad Bunny's first leading role in a feature film, following his appearances in several major titles such as Bullet Train, Happy Gilmore 2, and Caught Stealing.
