TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Parts of Jakarta are expected to see light rain from Saturday afternoon through the evening, according to Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency (BMKG).
At 7 a.m., West, Central and South Jakarta, along with the Thousand Islands, are forecast to be cloudy. East Jakarta is expected to be partly cloudy, while North Jakarta could see overcast skies.
The weather is forecast to brighten by 10 a.m., when sunny conditions are expected across all five mainland areas of Jakarta. The Thousand Islands are forecast to remain partly cloudy.
By 1 p.m., clouds are expected to return, with partly cloudy conditions forecast in West, Central and South Jakarta. East and North Jakarta are expected to be cloudy, while the Thousand Islands could see overcast skies.
Rain Expected From Afternoon to Night
Light rain is forecast to begin in parts of Jakarta at 4 p.m. West, Central, South and East Jakarta are expected to see showers, while North Jakarta is forecast to remain overcast and the Thousand Islands cloudy.
The rain is expected to spread across the capital by 7 p.m., with light rain forecast in all five mainland areas. The Thousand Islands are expected to remain overcast.
By 10 p.m., rain could continue in East and North Jakarta, while the rest of the capital is forecast to be overcast.
