TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto plans to inspect disaster management efforts in Sumatra before the start of 2026. This was conveyed by the State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Central Jakarta, on Monday, December 29, 2025. "It's planned like that," he said.
However, the presidential spokesperson has not yet specified the locations that Prabowo will visit. Previously, Prabowo had planned to visit Sumatra's disaster locations weekly. The head of state wants to monitor the development of disaster management.

Prabowo has already visited Aceh three times, North Sumatra twice, and West Sumatra twice. Prabowo said that the situation of these disasters must be faced with full alertness. Changes in the weather still affect the community's living environment.
