Police: Cipali Toll Road Implements Local One-Way Return Flow Scheme

19 hours ago 1

TEMPO.CO, Cirebon - The Police Corps have implemented the one-way or single-direction system on the Cikopo-Palimanan toll road (Cipali), West Java, today. Eid travelers are still asked to be careful during their journey back to Jakarta and its surrounding areas.

The Head of Corporate Communications Dept. Astra Tol Cipali, Ardam Rafif Trisilo, said that Astra Tol Cipali in coordination with the police has implemented the one-way traffic engineering towards Jakarta.

"This one-way system is local, valid from KM 188 Palimanan to KM 70 at the main Cikampek toll gate and starts at 04:25 PM WIB," Ardam said on Thursday, April 3, 2025.

Ardam asked travelers to maintain the vehicle speed limit of at least 60 kilometers per hour and a maximum of 100 kilometers per hour, even though the one-way system has been implemented.

Ardam also urged drivers to use the road shoulder wisely, especially in emergency situations. Road users are also encouraged to use alternatives outside the toll gates as rest areas. "The toll rates are guaranteed to remain the same," said Ardam.

Meanwhile, the number of vehicles passing through the Cipali toll road from Cirebon to Jakarta has reached 40.3 thousand from 00.00 am to 06.00 PM.

Furthermore, to create a smooth and safe homecoming journey, Astra Infra also advises travelers to plan their homecoming journey wisely, avoiding the predicted peak periods of homecoming and returning traffic.

Ardam reminded drivers to observe the speed limits, take sufficient breaks every maximum of 4 hours of driving, and avoid driving when tired or drowsy. In case of rain, road users are advised to drive at a maximum speed of 70 kilometers per hour.

"The peak of the return traffic on the Cipali toll road is predicted to be H+6 or April 6, 2025," he said.
