Marina Bay Sands Leads New Environmental Campaign in Singapore

1 day ago 6

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Marina Bay Sands Singapore is holding an event to raise awareness and action for the environment from May 31 to September 14, 2025. Participants can engage in various environmental-themed activities throughout the integrated resort (IR) area.

The campaign is in conjunction with "Go Green SG," a national movement by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) Singapore, aimed at helping to achieve a more sustainable and resilient Singapore in the face of climate change.

The Executive Director of Sustainability at Marina Bay Sands stated that the company has taken steps to preserve the environment and drive innovation in key areas, such as food waste and circularity throughout the integrated resort.

"Go Green SG is a national movement that we have supported since day one," said Beaujean in a statement received by Tempo.

Visitors can embark on an adventure at the ArtScience Museum, which offers experiences including new large interactive installations, fun educational workshops, and empowering film programs.

Visitors can also enjoy exclusive plant-based menus and environmentally friendly sales offerings elsewhere at Marina Bay Sands.

"At the ArtScience Museum, we have a long-term commitment to exploring our relationship with the environment through the lens of art and science," said the Vice President of the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands, Honor Harger.

Furthermore, Beaujean stated that the company is reopening the permanent exhibition "Future World: Where Art Meets Science" with new installations by teamLab, which deepen their exploration of nature.

In addition, Marina Bay Sands also offers the "Sustainable Futures Film Festival," which portrays intimate portraits of people and places on the frontlines of environmental change.

"We hope visitors gain an understanding of their role as environmental stewards and are inspired to play their part in creating a sustainable future," said Harger.
