According to the official Serie A website, Roma forward Donyell Malen netted a brace for I Lupi, with the other two goals scored by Matias Soule and Rodrigo Mora.
This haul of three points brings Roma's tally to six points from two matches, placing them at the top of the provisional Serie A standings for the season.
The squad nicknamed "I Lupi" holds a superior goal difference over Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, and Lazio, all of whom also have six points. Meanwhile, Lecce remains in 13th place with three points.
Roma took an early lead in the 4th minute. Malen capitalized on a defensive error by Lecce, pouncing on a ball that Kialonda Gaspar had failed to clear cleanly.
The Dutch forward then beat goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone to put Roma 1-0 ahead.
Malen got his name on the scoresheet again in the 23rd minute. He finished off a combination play involving Matias Soule and Wesley Franca with a close-range strike that Falcone was once again unable to stop, making the score 2-0.
It took Roma just two minutes to extend their lead. Soule scored the third goal after receiving a pass from Malen.
His initial shot was parried by Falcone, but Soule immediately pounced on the rebound to make it 3-0.
The three-goal cushion put Roma in a comfortable position heading into halftime.
In the second half, Roma maintained their aggressive play and found the net again in the 65th minute.
Rodrigo Mora, who had come on as a substitute just five minutes earlier, capitalized on a short pass from Gianluca Mancini. His shot found the bottom right corner of the Lecce goal, extending Roma's lead to 4-0.
There were no further goals before the final whistle, and Roma returned home with a 4-0 victory from Lecce's home ground.
