TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) will distribute a cash dividend of $300 million or approximately Rp4.89 trillion (at an exchange rate of Rp16,308) from the net income of the 2024 fiscal year. This decision has been approved at the General Meeting of Shareholders of AlamTri on June 2, 2025.
On January 15, 2025, ADRO distributed dividends amounting to $200 million or Rp3.26 trillion, bringing the total dividends to $500 million or approximately Rp8.15 trillion. "$500,000,000 or 36.23 percent is distributed as cash dividends," said Corporate Communication Febriati Nadira in a written statement received by Tempo on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
Throughout 2024, ADRO recorded a net income of Rp22.5 trillion. After deducting 36.23 percent for dividends, the remaining profit is Rp14.5 trillion, of which 63.77 percent is designated as retained earnings.
From May 16 to June 2, 2025, ADRO also carried out a Rp4 trillion share buyback. "The total value of the shares that the company will repurchase will not exceed 20 percent of its issued and paid-up capital," said ADRO management in the information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, quoted on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Management stated that shareholders approved the buyback decision on May 15, 2024. The buyback has also been recorded in the company's shareholder list on May 14, 2025, totaling 1,309,976,500 shares or 4.26 percent of the total issued and paid-up capital.
Furthermore, the management team stated that this share repurchase will not negatively impact the company's performance or revenue. "The company's available profit balance and cash flow are currently sufficient to meet its funding needs," the management said.
