TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Juventus returned to winning ways by defeating Parma 2-0 at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on Sunday, thanks to goals from Nicolas Gonzalez and Teun Koopmeiners.
This marked Juve's second victory, following their 1-0 win over Frosinone last week.
The win moved Juventus up to second place in the Italian League Serie A standings with six points from two matches, while Parma dropped to 17th place with zero points.
Parma created the first chance through Christian Ordonez.
Luciano Spalletti's squad responded by threatening through a shot from Francisco Conceicao that struck the left post of the Parma goal.
In the second half, Juventus threatened again with a shot from Nicolas Gonzalez that was saved by Parma goalkeeper Edoardo Corvi.
Nicolas Gonzalez put Juventus ahead in the 62nd minute, finding the back of the net with his shot.
Parma threatened in return with a header from David Romero, which was denied by Juventus goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.
The Bianconeri doubled their lead in the 88th minute when Teun Koopmeiners converted a pass from Manuel Locatelli into a goal.
