Steam, part of Valve Corporation, occasionally provides discounts, such as the Steam Winter Sale and Steam Halloween Sale. The Steam Summer Sale, in particular, offers significant discounts. Game prices vary depending on the age, quality, and game developer. The discounts offered range from just 5 percent to 90 percent.
What is the Steam Summer Sale?
As quoted from PC Gamer, the Steam Summer Sale is the biggest event among the four seasonal discount festivals. Lasting for two weeks, this event offers a variety of games of all kinds. Buyers can also get free Steam stickers despite spending a lot of time. Many discounts are available, such as RoboCop: Rogue City with a 90 percent discount. Borderlands 3 has a 95 percent discount.
As quoted from the website Steam, discounts include Blue Prince at 15 percent off, for a price of Rp 209,099. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is priced at Rp 449,100 with a 10 percent discount.
Steam Accessibility Features
Steam has recently added a number of accessibility features for players in full interface display mode or big picture mode. The same system is also available for devices running SteamOS, such as Steam Deck and Lenovo Legion Go S handhelds. "Provided as part of our ongoing efforts to improve Steam accessibility across all devices," a statement on the official Steam website said on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
Updated features include UI scaling, high contrast mode, and motion reduction features. This service is currently only available on Steam Deck and the Lenovo Legion Go S handheld console.
