TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - WhatsApp now makes it easier for users to express themselves in conversations. One option is to create stickers directly within the application without downloading additional apps.
Interestingly, this feature not only supports the creation of stickers from photos, but also from favorite videos that are automatically transformed into moving animated stickers. This feature is now available in the latest version of WhatsApp for Android, iOS, and WhatsApp Web.
The process is very practical, quick, and only requires a few simple steps. Take advantage of this feature to make your conversations feel more personal, fun, and expressive.
1. Open Chat and Select the Sticker Menu
Open the chat page in WhatsApp, then tap the emoji icon in the chat column and select the sticker tab. Here, you will see a collection of existing stickers. To create a new sticker, tap the Add (+) icon and select the Create Sticker option.
2. Choose a Video
After selecting Create Sticker, WhatsApp will automatically open your phone's gallery. Select a short video for easy conversion into an animated sticker. The video will be cut to a maximum of a few seconds to fit the WhatsApp animated sticker format.
3. Edit the Sticker to Suit Your Taste
After choosing the video, WhatsApp will display a preview that you can edit immediately. You can trim the duration, select parts of the video, add text, emojis, or funny doodles. Additionally, you can rearrange the video's position to fit the sticker frame.
4. Save and Use
If you have finished editing, simply tap Send to save it. The video will automatically transform into an animated sticker and will be saved directly in the WhatsApp sticker collection. You can use it immediately in any conversation without needing additional applications.
