TEMPO.COJakarta - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Aceh Barat Regency recorded that a total of 3,866 people from 2,652 households have been affected by the flood for three days since November 25, 2025. The water, reaching a height of 1.5 meters, submerged at least seven sub-districts in the regency.

The Acting Head of BPBD Aceh Barat, Teuku Ronal Nehdiansyah, stated that there have been no casualties reported from this flood disaster. "There have been no reports of residents becoming victims in the current flood disaster," he said, as quoted by Antara on Friday, November 28, 2025.

The flood primarily affected seven sub-districts, submerging multiple villages in each area: Johan Pahlawan (e.g., Pasi Leuhan), Meureubo (e.g., Pasi Masjid, Pasi Aceh Tunong, Pasi Aceh Baroh), Sungai Mas (eight villages, including Kajeung, Geduong, and Gaseu), Arongan Lambalek (including Teupin Peuraho, Peuribu, and Arongan), Woyla Timur (seven villages, including Seuradeuk, Pasi Ara, and Pasi Janeng), Pante Ceureumen (including Canggai, Keutambang, and Lango), and Woyla Barat (including Napai, Blang Cot Rubek, and Pasi Panyang).

In addition, Kaway XVI sub-district saw 10 villages submerged, including Alue Tampak, Padang Mancang, and Pasi Jambu.
